I lived and worked in Sedona, Arizona and the Outer Banks in Kitty Hawk, NC. I moved to both places in my 50s, on my own, without knowing a soul there. I fell in love with the land, met wonderful people and had magical experiences.
I have a cat named Charlie that I rescued from an abandoned barn when he was barely a week old. He required bottle feeding every hour. Needless to say Charlie is now a huge people person and loves to introduce himself to visitors. He also greats me everyday when I return home from work and I reward him by picking him up and giving him lots of snuggles.
