Are you ready to learn to dance with your intuition and discernment to create a process and paintings you love?  Your intuition is a superpower that can greatly enhance your creative life. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to work with your intuition to enhance any style of painting, including landscape, still life, figurative, abstract, and more. Day one focused on cultivating awareness of your unique energetic cues. Day two is a full day to play & experiment and develop a painting.

You can look forward to:

Day One:

• Learning how intuition and inspiration work so you can access them more reliably.
• Participate in exercises to get to know your intuition’s unique energetic cues.
• Cultivate awareness of your energy and the vibrations in your body as you experiment with a variety of paints, mark making tools, and techniques. Discover what delights you.
• Discovering pitfalls that can block your inspiration and intuition and how to navigate them.
• Recognize the rhythms of your creative process and how to use both intuition and discernment to steer your painting through false starts, the messy middle, overworking, and knowing when a painting is truly done.

Day Two:

• A full day for you to let loose, play and experiment.
• Spaciousness and time to follow the breadcrumbs of joy in the creative process.
• Time to work intuitively while developing a concept or giving structure to your painting (if you choose to).

This workshop is good fit for:

This a day of insight and exploration for beginners to experienced painters. Our focus is on the creative process and learning to recognize how you receive intuitive information so you can enjoy the guidance and gifts it has to offer as you create.

Materials Available for Use

• Acrylic paints in a variety of viscosities including: heavy body, fluid, ink, and spray paint
• Oil pastels, water soluble pastels, Posca markers, colored pencils, charcoal, pencils, pens.
• Paint brushes, palette knives, stamps, stencils,  bubble wrap, skewers, and more.
• White paper towels, Scotch blue paper towels, red rags, spray bottles
• Have a favorite tool, mark maker, or color? Bring it!

Bonus #1: Class size is limited to just six people to ensure plenty of time for sharing and one-on-one instruction.

Bonus #2: Each participant receives a complementary customized sketchbook to record their experiments and document their discoveries.

Bonus #3: We’ve added a second day, to give you the space and freedom for more creative play and experimentation and to nuture a painting further along, if you wish.
