Breezy 10 x 10

$195.00

I have an odd history with goats. When I was young we got a goat because my sister liked them and Mom could use the goat’s milk for her litters of puppies, and they kept the horses company too. While I loved taking care of our horses, I had mixed feelings about the goats. While they were cute they could also be super stubborn. And, shortly after we got the goat, we discovered that my sister was allergic to them and Mom couldn’t get the rhythm down of milking, so I ended up being the one milking the goat. And goats get into trouble. One day when was out sunbathing on our back lawn, I discovered that our goat, Breezy had fallen through the well house into our dug well. I had to call the fire department to get her out. For weeks after that people would come up to me and ask me how my goat was. How did I know? They knew because apparently a lot of people have police and fire scanners. Anyhow, I was embarrassed by this and would clarify that Breezy WAS NOT MY GOAT, she was my sister’s, and thanks to my mom nurturing her back to good health, she was perfectly fine would live to shine (cause more trouble) another day. . . . .

“Breezy” is an acrylic and collage mixed media painting on 10” x 10” canvas panel.
