The Birch Trees

I became a bit enamored with painting birch trees the winter of 2020. It’s fun experimenting with painting the crisp clean lines of birch trees on various colored abstract backgrounds, in different settings, using different media (acrylic, hand-painted paper, etc). And, who says a birch tree has to be white? In my world, they can be any color, including pink and purple! I continue to circle back and explore the birches, most recently incorporating hand painted papers.
